On August 30, celebrated American guitarist Sharon Isbin will release her new CD, Sharon Isbin and Friends: Guitar Passions. As a special treat, Sony Classical is offering visitors to Classical Archives a sneak peak, with an Exclusive Video featuring a performance of Isaac Albéniz’ famed “Asturias”. The new album will present a collection of classical and classical-crossover tracks where Ms. Isbin is joined by such top musicians as rock / jazz guitarists Steve Vai and Stanley Jordan, soprano saxophonist Paul Winter, and rock vocalist (from Heart) Nancy Wilson. The video not only anticipates the new album, but also a forthcoming Exclusive Interview with Ms. Isbin conducted by Artistic Director Nolan Gasser. This will mark the second interview with Sharon Isbin. Enjoy!
